Accessibility Notice

This Accessibility Notice was published on 05 September 2025 and is reviewed annually or whenever major updates are implemented to the Grantias platform.

1. Commitment to Digital Accessibility

Grantias is committed to ensuring that its digital services are accessible to all users, regardless of ability, technology, or situation.
We are continuously improving the accessibility of our website and platform to provide an inclusive user experience in compliance with the EU Web Accessibility Directive (2016/2102), the Estonian Accessibility Requirements, and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

Our goal is to enable all individuals — including persons with disabilities — to perceive, understand, navigate, and interact effectively with our platform and content.

2. Scope of This Statement

This Accessibility Notice applies to all digital properties under the Grantias brand, including:

  • The main website www.grantias.com

  • The Grantias platform and its modules (Maxim, Commo, Lucil, Proxi)

  • All associated online tools, dashboards, and forms used for project management, proposal generation, and AI-powered interactions

It does not cover third-party websites or tools that may be linked or integrated within the platform (such as Google Drive, Dropbox, Notion, or OpenAI interfaces), as they are governed by their own accessibility policies.

3. Accessibility Standards and Measures

Grantias follows best practices in web accessibility and usability, implementing measures to achieve compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and the relevant EN 301 549 standards, including:

  • Perceivable:
Ensuring that information and user interface components are presented in ways that users can perceive, including text alternatives for non-text content, sufficient color contrast, and scalable font options.

  • Operable:
Providing full keyboard navigation, logical focus order, and sufficient time to interact with content. Avoiding any content that may trigger seizures or physical reactions.

  • Understandable:
Designing clear interfaces, consistent navigation, and simple language explanations for all interactive modules.

  • Robust:
Ensuring compatibility with assistive technologies (screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) and responsive layouts across devices and browsers.

4. Technical Specifications

Grantias’ digital infrastructure has been developed using modern accessibility-compliant technologies, including:

  • Frontend: React (with WAI-ARIA labeling and semantic HTML5 structure)

  • Backend: FastAPI architecture ensuring secure and clear API interactions

  • Styling Framework: Tailwind CSS with focus indicators, high contrast modes, and adaptive design

  • Text Editor Accessibility: Integrated TinyMCE editor configured for screen reader and keyboard navigation support

We periodically test the platform with automated tools (WAVE, Lighthouse Accessibility Audit, axe DevTools) and manual reviews to identify and address accessibility barriers.

5. Known Limitations

While we strive for full compliance, some limitations may still exist, such as:

  • Auto-generated AI content that may not include descriptive alternative text.

  • Certain interactive charts or diagrams that are not yet fully optimized for screen readers.

  • Occasional third-party plug-ins whose accessibility compliance is under continuous review.

We are actively working to address these issues and appreciate user feedback to improve further.
